1. Mid-cycle Cramp or Pain: The release of prostaglandin which is observed during the release of egg from the ovary induces mild abdominal pain. Some sensitive women could notice such pain about thin mid-cycle.
2. Slight Increase in Body Temperature: A hormone called progesterone that is released immediately after the ovulation has a thermogenic effect, that it can increase the body temperature (hotness) by 0.5c to 1.0c.
3. Changes in Cervical or Vaginal Secretion: Before and after ovulation, the cervical or virginal Secretion or discharge is usually thick and gummy (sticky).
However, during ovulation, this sticky secretion becomes slippery and slimy in nature (fig 1&2). A woman who examines her vaginal discharge daily would notice this unique change which signifies that ovulation has occurred.
